Ascension Skin Clip Fix

Black Diamond Ascension ClipFix Skins are the answer for skiboarders/skiers who want to explore the backcountry with a minimum of hassle. The over-the-center camming device (constructed entirely of stainless steel) is an extremely fast and durable skin attachment system. For the 05/06 season, the Ascension nylon plush is a bright Orange and the new double-bar Tip Loop is reconfigured to fit a wider variety of skiboard/ski tips. Built with a stiffer laminate than many other skins, these are solid to handle and easy to manipulate in high winds. Glueless strips allow for easier separation in the field. The system is engaged at the tail - which means tips stay streamlined and can be adjusted at the tip for length. The swaged-cable tip loop is low in profile and allows for easy gliding and trail breaking.
