Tyrolia LD 12 Binding

The new Tyrolia LD-12 Railflex release binding allow full flex of your skiboards due to its unique design, while still maintaining the natural dynamic properties of your skiboards including optimum edge grip. Good news! These bindings allow those of you who enjoy leaning back on your boards to do so without unwanted release.

The unique railflex system allows for quicker stabilization of your skiboards even in extreme counter-flex situations, such as after a compression in a dip, or in tight turns. Bindings absorb brief, intense impacts as well. Overall, this design allows greater traction, improved edge grip and control with less chatter even at top speeds.

Like no other bindings on the market, these intelligently programmed LD-12 bindings have some very special safety features. First, maximum safety is provided through its full 180 degree diagonal release allowing active protection in all directions, from vertical to horizontal, a feature exclusive to Tyrolia. Heel and toe are free to move, thus allowing a direct release in the direction of a fall. This ensures optimum protection during backward twisting or forward twisting falls.

Next, the unique design of this binding system increases retention force by 30 % with 30 % less play, allowing for greater power conversion to the edges and thus more reliable performance. The LD-12 offers the perfect combination of elasticity, resetting, and retention forces and also reduces peak loads on knees and ligaments.

In the case of a fall, the ABS system allows the boot to glide laterally out of the binding with practically no friction. The LD-12 maintains constant release values and safety despite ice-up, dirt or boot wear, due to its self-cleaning system.

The LD-12 Railflex bindings are adjustable for boot size range US 8 (Mondo 26) to US 16+ (Mondo 34+).

This binding is perfect for skiboards such as: Summit Custom 110cm, Summit Custom 110cm, Summit Marauder 125, Hagan Off Limits 133cm, and most 99cm skiboards. Not recommended for skiboards below 90cm due to length however due to length.
