Icelantic Scout 143cm AT Boards

The new Icelantic Scouts are a new introduction to the Skiboards Superstore. For those of you who love the handling of skiboards, but want to explore the outer limits of length, these boards at 143cm ride like skiboards, but with the added advantage of much more surface area. The Scouts are super fat and explosively charged boards which were inspired by the challenging and varied conditions of the Rocky Mountains. The Scouts at 143cm in length have the surface area of a 180cm shaped ski, thus rivaling the speed of much longer skis. Yet, the Scouts keep the same "road feel" and manuverability as well as many other benefits of skiboards. A stiff, balanced flex gives these boards amazing power and control all over the mountain and in every snow condition. Although they are a great tool for a variety of skill levels, the more aggresive you get the better they perform.

We chose to carry the Icelantic boards first because these were designed by a skiboarder. Beyond that, these boards were specifically designed to perform like longer skiboards, rather than like short skis. These are the answer for anyone seeking to take that next heli or snowcat trip in waist deep powder or even venture into the backcountry. The asymmetrical twin tip design makes for easy tricks in the parks, riding backwards or for screaming down the groomed runs.

Bindings: Can be mounted with AT bindings like the Black Diamond Freeride bindings, conventional alpine ski bindings such as the Tyrolia LD12 for maximum flex or telemark bindings.
