Icelantic Scout '08 AT Boards

The Scout is the Conceptual Flagship of Icelantic. This skiboard embodies our goal of creating an ultra maneuverable, extremely stable, high performance tool ideal for any skiboarder. This go anywhere, do anything board is great for fast backcountry laps, ripping untapped tree stashes, blasting through cruddy, sun-baked snow or just charging the resorts with friends. The Scout's signature stiffness, aggressive sidecut and totally unique shape come together in a fast, fun and explosive snowriding experience. You've heard about it, now it's time to experience the Scout for yourself! These were designed and built by a skiboarder and capture the same feel of skiboards. This definitely pushes the upwards limits of skiboards but can be ridden without poles. Also, excellent for backcountry riding fitted with Freeride bindings and skins.

The Scout now also comes in a softer flex as well this year. These are built with the same top-of-the-line materials and construction, cutting no corners. The soft flex is for those who enjoy a smoother ride, lighter boards and easier turning. Stiffer boards are recommend for those who ride the parks or are more aggressive.

We chose to carry the Icelantic boards first because these were designed by a skiboarder. Beyond that, these boards were specifically designed to perform like longer skiboards, rather than like short skis. These are the answer for anyone seeking to take that next heli or snowcat trip in waist deep powder or even venture into the backcountry. The asymmetrical twin tip design makes for easy tricks in the parks, riding backwards or for screaming down the groomed runs.
