The new 2006/07 Line skiboards are in. The Line Fly 99cm skiboards are great all-around skiboards for cruising. Rated by Line for 70% all mountain riding and 30% terrain parks, the Fly skiboards are perfect balance for those seeking to lay out those great carves on the groomers, but don't want to miss soaring in the terrain parks. Directional, asymmetrical twin tips are just right for those who mostly prefer forward cruising, but with some backwards riding thrown in for the thrill of it. The narrow body design works great for riders who are looking for a ski-like feel with quick edge-to-edge power transfer.
The Fly 99cm featured here are light and affordable with Salomom factory mounted, easy to adjust (without tools) non-release bindings. These 8 hole mount bindings have stood the test of time and continue to offer reliable performance at an affordable price.
Features:
90mm Waist - this provides a highly responsive feel with quick and effortless edge control.
Centered Stance: The skiboards are designed with a centered stance, which means there is equal surface in front and behind the boot for maximum balance and stability.
Freeride Core: a 50/50 Birch/Aspen wood blend for a light, responsive feel, yet with the stability you need when you are cruising. Wood core insures long lasting shape and performance.
Directional Twin-Tips: an asymmetrical design (the front tip is higher than the back tip), which allows for all-mountain performance but with the bonus of great handling in the parks as well riding fakey (backwards).
Bindings fit the Rossignol Soft Light Boots, all other regular ski boots, hardshell snowboard and mountaineering boots.
Line Fly skiboards are recommended for intermediate to advanced skiboarders, and skiers looking to convert to skiboards while maintaining the similar feel that narrower skiboards provide. Also, great skiboards for skaters looking to easily convert their skills to the slopes.
